Acoustics '17 Boston - 8th Forum Acusticum and 173rd ASA meeting


Das Forum Acusticum findet alle drei Jahre als große europäische Tagung für Akustik statt, organisiert von einer nationalen Fachgesellschaft für Akustik im Namen der European Acoustics Association (EAA).

Im Jahr 2017 wird die Tagung als gemeinsame Veranstaltung mit der Acoustical Society of America (ASA) in den USA durchgeführt.

Sie sind herzlich eingeladen, an der internationalen Tagung "Acoustics '17 Boston" vom 25. bis 29. Juni 2017 teilzunehmen; siehe Webseite:

Für junge Akustiker(innen):

  • The European Acoustics Association (EAA) will support with grants
    the participation of 10 young researchers and students from European Countries
    in the Congress;
    deadline: 14.04.2017;

  • EAA will offer six Best Paper and Presentation Awards to young researchers
    who will present a paper as first author (500 €);
    deadline: 08.05.2017.

This time when it is done in co-operation with our ASA colleagues it is extra inspiring to participate and show the best and most interesting work we do in Europe. The cost for attending will be as follows:

  • Full Registration: $575 (pre-registration) / $675 (on-site registration)
  • Student Registration: $50 (pre-registration) / $150 (on-site registration)
  • ASA or EAA Emeritus Members: $150 (pre-registration) / $200 (on-site registration)
    (Emeritus status pre-approved by ASA or EAA)
  • Accompanying Persons: $150 (pre-registration) / $200 (on-site registration)
